Japan or Die - Issue #64
Everything, Everywhere, All at Once

Japan or Die usually has three topics per issue. Today is an exception.
Many readers may not realize there’s a huge archive you can currently access on the website for free.
Here, you’ll find over 60 issues spanning 180+ topics, including food, culture, neighborhoods, drinking, shopping, trains, secret places, thought pieces, and all manner of extras hidden within each article. In short, there’s a lot of information in the archive!
In the near future, most archived issues (along with itineraries, a mini language guide, a restaurant database, and more) will be accessible only to paid subscribers. Everyone will receive the free weekly email, but most past issues will be gated. So I want you all to have a chance to explore them now, while everything is free to access.
Below, I’ve included some suggested issues that have been popular within various categories. I’ve tried not to repeat issues too much, but because each has 3 topics, sometimes one issue features great info for a few categories. You can click on the individual links below or click the “read online” button at the top of this email to access all the archives at once. Keep in mind, these examples are less than 1/3 of the topics contained therein.
